"Strong profitability".

The e-commerce success Flippy, which was launched in November 2024, is already showing strong results. Behind the company are serial entrepreneurs Marcus Söderberg and Cornelis Olsen, as well as children's program host Alexander Hermansson, known from the extreme sports team Rackartygarna.

Flippy started by creating a drawing program on YouTube, "Draw with Alex," to offer children more active screen time. They then launched their first product, the "Flippy" colored pencils, as part of a strategy to "make screen-free cool again."

The venture proved to be a success. In just three weeks, Flippy sold 1.5 tons of pens, equivalent to sales of approximately SEK 900,000.

This with a strong profitability of 55 percent, says Cornelis Olsen to Ehandel.

The company has high ambitions for the future. In 2025, the team aims to reach a turnover of 4 million SEK.

Growth will occur by expanding the product range to include coloring books, different types of pencils and craft supplies, as well as by scaling up the digital drawing club.

Flippy will grow significantly and the goal is to reach 4 million in sales. We have seen enormous interest in the concept of screen-free play and want to take it even further, says Cornelis Olsen.

More specifically, the company plans to further develop the drawing club into its own digital platform where users can log in to access inspiration, practical tips and educational materials. The platform will also offer access to exclusive events with well-known role models in the field, with the goal of creating an engaging and educational experience for members.

Another crucial factor for the e-retailer's growth is well-planned logistics, something that the founders prioritized from the beginning. This was done by having their warehouse in Sweden and collaborating with third-party logistics companies.

We do not operate dropshipping models, but have our own warehouses and control over the entire logistics chain, he concludes.
